5. ‘EXPLO 2018’ begins Tuesday
Participants to take part in wide range of faith-based activities

Tens of thousands of people are coming to Jeju to commemorate the 110th anniversary of Christian missionary work here in an event called EXPLO 2018.

The event preparation committee recently held a press conference to offer details about their plans.

Committee members said university students from Korea and elsewhere will be among the 30,000 expected participants in EXPLO 2018, which runs from June 26th to the 29th on Saebyeol Oreum. They will take part in a wide range of programs while quote “sharing the love and volunteer spirit of their faith” unquote.

The specific activities and other offerings they will take part in include beach cleanups, children’s language camps, medical volunteer service, music classes, and taekwondo instruction.

제주선교 110주년을 맞아 EXPLO 2018 청년제주대회가 오는 26일부터 나흘간 제주 새별오름에서 열립니다.

청년제주대회 준비위원회는 제주도의회 도민의 방에서 기자회견을 갖고 이번 EXPLO 2018 청년제주대회를 설명했습니다.

주요내용을 보면 국내외 대학생들을 비롯한 3만여명이 참가한 가운데 다양한 프로그램을 통해 기독교의 사랑과 봉사정신을 나누게 됩니다.

또 해수욕장과 바닷가 청소, 어린이들을 위한 외국어캠프, 의료봉사, 음악. 태권도 교실과 같은 다양한 부대행사도 마련됩니다.
