2. Council committee passes proposals for multi-use buildings
Structures to include community centers, subsidized housing

A provincial council standing committee has passed proposals to build government buildings that combine community centers with subsidized housing units.

The administration and autonomy committee approved plans Friday for one such building in Ildo 2-dong, Jeju City and another in Jungang-dong, Seogwipo.

The planned multi-use building in Ildo-dong will have two underground levels and nine floors above ground. It will have a community center office and 130 residential units when it’s done in 2021.

The structure in Jungang-dong will include 90 subsidized housing units.

주민센터와 행복주택을 결합한 복합청사 개발사업이 도의회 상임위를 통과하면서
탄력을 받게 됐습니다.

제주도의회 행정자치위원회는 22일 제360회 임시회에서 제주도지사가 제출한 제주시 일도2동과 서귀포시 중앙동 복합청사 개발을 위한 공유재산관리계획변경안을 가결했습니다.

일도동 복합청사는 지하 2층, 지상 9층 규모로 주민센터 청사와 130세대 규모의 행복주택이 들어설 예정으로 2021년 완공을 목표로 하고 있습니다.

서귀포시 중앙동에도 신청사와 90세대 규모의 행복주택이 결합한 복합청사가 들어서게 됩니다.
