2. Governor’s ‘Pledge Fulfillment Committee’ inaugurated
Committee will draw up roadmap to enact Won Hee-ryong’s promised changes

The committee to help Governor Won Hee-ryong implement his reelection pledges was officially inaugurated Monday.

The governor, committee chair (허향진) Heo Hyang-jin, and the 490 Jeju residents selected as committee members took part in the inauguration ceremony at the Jeju Arts Center.

The committee is divided into eight subcommittees, including ones for the environment, and the city and transportation, as well as another eight special subcommittees for young adults, childcare, and other issues and groups.

The committee will draw up a concrete schedule over the next couple of months to implement the governor’s pledges. It will then release a final implementation plan in August.

민선 7기 도민화합공약실천위원회 출범

민선7기 제주도정의 공약실천계획을 수립할 도민화합공약실천위원회가 25일 공식 출범했습니다.

제주아트센터에서 열린 출범식에는 원희룡 지사와 허향진 공약실천위원회 위원장,
그리고 위원으로 뽑힌 도민 490여 명이 참석했습니다.

위원회는 환경과 도시교통 등 8개 분과위원회와 청년과 보육 갈등 분야 등 8개 특별위원회 등으로 구성됐습니다.

앞으로 두 달간 공약 세부계획을 수립한 뒤 8월 최종안을 확정해 공개할 예정입니다.
