4. Yeon-dong has most credit card sales in Jeju
Jeju City community home to duty-free shops, restaurants, accommodations

Analysts say Yeon-dong, Jeju City is the community with the most credit card sales on the island.

The Jeju Tourism Organization researched credit card sales last year by region. Yeon-dong had the most, followed by Yongdam-dong, Saekdal-dong, Nohyeong-dong, and Seogwi-dong.

JTO representatives say Yeon-dong and Saekdal-dong’s duty-free shops, restaurants, and accommodations are why they are so high on the list.
Nohyeong-dong and Seogwi-dong are also home to numerous retail outlets and restaurants.

도내 신용카드 매출액 '연동'이 가장 많아

제주지역에서 신용카드 매출액이 가장 많은 지역은 제주시 연동인 것으로 나타났습니다.

제주관광공사가 지난해 도내 신용카드 매출액을 이용 지역별로 분석한 결과
제주시 연동이 가장 많았고, 이어 용담동과 색달동, 노형동, 서귀동 순이었습니다.

특히 연동과 색달동은 외국인 면세점과 음식, 숙박시설이 밀집해 있고 노형과 서귀동은 상가가 많아 소매업과 음식점의 매출이 높은 것으로 분석됐습니다.
