3. Top score on tourism development assessment
Jeju ranks first second time in a row

For the second time in a row, Jeju has earned one of the top scores in the country on a tourism development assessment.

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism says Jeju shared the top slot with Gangwon-do, Gyeonggi-do, and Jeollanam-do in its 2017 assessment.

It received the highest scores possible for tourism capacity and spending power as well as on a tourism policy index.

Jeju received the top score in the 2015 assessment, as well.

제주도, 관광발전지수 2회 연속 '1등급'

제주도가 국내 관광 발전 수준을 나타내는 '지역관광발전지수' 조사에서 2회 연속 가장 높은 등급을 받았습니다.

문화체육관광부가 발표한 '2017 지역관광발전지수 동향 분석'에 따르면 제주도는 강원도와 경기도, 전라남도와 함께 광역자치단체 지역관광발전지수 1등급 지역에 선정됐습니다.

특히 제주도는 이번 평가에서 관광수용력과 소비력, 관광정책역량지수에서 모두 1등급을 받았습니다.

제주도는 2015년 조사에서도 광역자치단체 중에서 유일하게 1등급을 받았습니다.
