4. Numerous athletic events this month
Taekwondo, soccer, cycling, karate, judo, etc.

Jeju is hosting a variety of athletic competitions this month.

The provincial government says the eleven events include tournaments for taekwondo, soccer, cycling, karate, and judo.

Of particular note are the taekwondo events: athletes can qualify for the Olympics in the 2018 Jeju Korea Open International Taekwondo Championship, while some 10,000 amateurs from across the globe will compete in the World Taekwondo Hanmadang.

7월 한달간 태권도 비롯 스포츠대회 풍성

7월 한달동안 제주에서 코리아 오픈국제태권도대회 등 국내외 스포츠대회가 다양하게 열립니다.

제주특별자치도에 따르면 7월 한달동안 태권도와 배드민턴, 축구, 자전거대회,
공수도, 유도 등 국내외 스포츠 대회 11개가 잇따라 개최될 예정입니다.

특히 올림픽 랭킹점수가 부여되는 제주코리아오픈국제태권도대회와 생활체육인들의 세계태권도한마당 축제가 연이어 열릴 예정이어서 전세계 60개국 만여명이 제주를 찾을 것으로 예상됩니다.
