1. Province moving ahead with ‘April 3rd Incident Trauma Center’
Part of \45b development project in April 3rd Peace Park

The provincial government is working on the establishment of a trauma center to treat the victims of the April 3rd Incident and their relatives.

It recently began seeking bids for a feasibility study on the creation of a basic plan to revitalize the April 3rd Peace Park.

The province plans to build the trauma center and a National World Peace Human Rights Center on 170,000 square meters of land in the park by 2024.

The project, which was one of Governor Won Hee-ryong’s electoral pledges when he ran for a second term, is estimated to cost 45 billion won.

오는 2023년까지 평화공원 17만여 제곱미터 부지에 사업비 450억 원을 들여
4.3 트라우마센터와 국립 세계평화인권센터를 건립하게 됩니다.

이 사업은 원희룡 지사가 지방선거 당시 민선 7기 도정 공약으로 제시한 바 있습니다.
