4. JTO, Hong Kong Tourism Authority teaming up on marketing efforts
Will promote tours that include stops in both regions

Local officials are teaming up the Hong Kong Tourism Board as part of efforts to diversify the local tourism market.

Representatives from the provincial government and the Jeju Tourism Organization recently held a presentation on Jeju travel for members of the board who are in charge of overseas affairs. Members of the JTO and the HKTB agreed to work together to develop tour packages.

Hong Kong Tourism Board representatives will also join their JTO counterparts in overseas presentations later this year to promote tours that incorporate stops in both Jeju and Hong Kong.
