Jeju hosting 8 social media stars to help spread the word

In related news, the provincial government and the Jeju Tourism Organization are also stepping up efforts to attract more travelers from mainland China.

They invited eight Chinese social media stars to the island for a tour of Jeju’s top summer destinations.

They’re being treated to snorkeling, paddle boarding, and other activities, as well as visits to Dongmun Traditional Market’s night market and some night concerts. Local officials say the eight will use their social media presences to inform their hundreds of thousands of followers of Jeju’s charms.
