Seogwipo visitors generally satisfied with trips

Domestic travelers are generally satisfied with their trips to Seogwipo, but some say the city needs to offer more nighttime activities.

Seogwipo surveyed 406 domestic travelers at the airport, ports, and major tourist attractions. The average score for overall visit satisfaction was 4.09 on a scale of five.

80 percent of respondents said they would like to come and back and that they would recommend the city to others.

Thirty percent said that more tourist infrastructure and programs for nighttime activities were needed to encourage visitors to stay longer. Respondents also cited a need for better options for both so-called “wellness tourism” and leisure and sports programs.

"서귀포 여행 만족, 야간관광 확대 필요"

서귀포를 방문한 국내 관광객들의 만족도는 비교적 높은 가운데 야간관광 확대가 필요하다는 의견이 나왔습니다.

서귀포시가 지난 5월 8일부터 2주 동안 제주공항과 항만, 주요 관광지에서 내국인 관광객 406명을 대상으로 설문조사한 결과 전반적인 만족도는 5점 만점에 4.09점으로 나타났습니다.

전체 80% 정도는 서귀포를 다시 방문할 의사가 있고 다른 사람에게 추천할 의향도 있다고 답했습니다.

다만 서귀포여행에서 체류기간을 늘리기 위해서는 야간관광 인프라와 프로그램이 필요하다는 의견이 30%로 가장 많았고 웰니스관광, 레저.스포츠 프로그램 순으로 나타났습니다.
