5. NGOs, students can get up to \10m for conservation activities

The Environment Conservation Fund Management Committee is spearheading a 70-million won financial support program for environmental conservation activities on the island. Applications can be made through August 3rd.

NGOs and student clubs in Jeju can apply for the funding in 4 areas: environmental conservation, ecosystem protection, environmental education and environmental cultural art.


Recipients from NGOs will receive up to 10-million won in funding and student clubs are eligible for up to 5-million won in support funds.

The Committee consists of members of environmental organizations, the press and academia. The Environment Conservation Fund is being contributed by Jeju Hog-raising Nonghyup and Jeju Hog-raising Industry Development Fund.


환경보전활동 지원사업 공모…최대 1천만원

환경보전기금운용위원회가
올해 7천만원 규모의 제주환경보전활동 지원사업을
다음달 3일까지 공모합니다.

지원대상은
도내 비영리민간단체와 학생 동아리 모임 등으로
환경보전과 생태계 보호, 환경교육, 환경문화예술 4개 분야입니다.

지원사업에 선정되면 프로그램당 비영리민간단체는 1천만원,
동아리는 500만원까지 지원됩니다.

환경보전기금운용위원회는
환경단체와 언론, 학계 등 외부인사로 구성됐으며
제주양돈농협과 제주양돈산업발전기금에서 출연한 환경보전기금으로 지원됩니다.
