4. 112 police services partially transferred to local police
Municipal police to deal with lost and found, traffic inconvenience

When calling for the police on the helpline 112, you can now get direct assistance from local police stations depending on the type of help required, as the National Police has partially transferred its operations to the local police.

On Wednesday, 96 police workers were dispatched to Dongbu Police Station from the Jeju Municipal Police for this purpose… following another 27 in April.

The municipal police will work with national police in four areas, including sexual and family violence, and it will be solely in charge of handling 11 other areas related to resident lives, such as lost and found, or traffic inconvenience.

The police will monitor and analyze the results of this change, and based on the outcome, make suggestions to legislate the changes.

2단계 파견한다고 밝혔습니다.

이에 따라 제주자치경찰단은 앞으로
성폭력과 가정폭력 등 4가지의 신고를 국가경찰과 공동 수행하고,
교통불편과 분실물 습득 등
주민생활 밀접 11가지의 신고 처리 사무를 전담 수행합니다.
