Discussions on adoption of groundbreaking technology

Discussions are underway on developing Jeju into a hub for blockchain technology, which analysts say is a core feature of the so-called “fourth industrial revolution.”

The Jeju Startup Association and the Tamna Financial Forum held a seminar Friday at Jeju Venture Maru to discuss the plans.

Experts and representatives from relevant companies, including Im Myeong-hwan, a researcher from the Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute, and Gang Se-won, the CEO of Block Tag, discussed the pros and cons of adopting the technology.
