Thousands of athletes from across the globe are in Jeju for the 2018 Jeju Korea Open International Taekwondo Championship. Mike Laidman reports.
In front of a crowd, two athletes spar, exchange a series of kicks.
The athlete leading tries to get in at least another touch or two to broaden their lead, while their opponent attacks with ferociousness, desperately trying to close the point gap.
They look exhausted, but don’t give up until the final bell.
