4. Seogwipo KAL Hotel section of Olle Trail 6 to reopen
Closed due to safety concerns in 2009

The part of Olle Trail 6 that goes through the Seogwipo KAL Hotel will soon reopen, nine years after it was closed.

The hotel is improving trail facilities on the section from the shore in front of it to (소정방) Sojeongbang Waterfall, and it plans to reopen that part in time for November’s Jeju Olle Walking Festival.

Trail 6 opened in 2007, but this section of the path was closed due to safety concerns in 2009. Walkers have had to take a detour around it since then.

올레 6코스 서귀포칼호텔 해안길 재개통

제주올레 6코스상에 서귀포칼호텔을 경유하는 길이 폐쇄 9년여 만에 다시 개통됩니다.

서귀포칼호텔은 호텔 해안가에서 소정방폭포까지 연결되는 올레길에 대해 시설 개.보수 작업을 벌여 오는 11월 올레걷기 축제부터 개장하기로 했습니다.

당초 이 길은 지난 2007년 개통됐지만 2년 뒤인 2009년 호텔 측이 안전상의 이유로 폐쇄했고 이로 인해 탐방객들은 호텔을 우회해야 했습니다.
