2. 92,000 travelers daily at Jeju International Airport
Average of 500 flights per day through August 12

Authorities have enacted special measures to handle the nearly 100 thousand people who will be passing through Jeju International Airport daily over the high summer season.

The Jeju branch of the Korea Airports Corporation projects 1,749,000 people will use the facility between July 25th and August 12th.

That works out to an average of over 92,000 travelers per day. They will be flying on some 97-hundred flights over the period, or 500 per day.

The corporation has set up an emergency response team to ensure fliers have as few inconveniences as possible.

휴가철 제주공항 이용객이 하루 평균 9만명을 넘을 것으로 예상됨에 따라 한국공항공사가 특별교통대책에 나섰습니다.

한국공항공사 제주지역본부에 따르면 휴가가 집중되는 25일부터 다음달 12일까지 제주공항 이용객은 174만9천에 달할 전망입니다.

하루 평균 9만2천명이 넘는 것으로 이 기간에 9천700여 편의 항공기가
하루에 500편이상 이착륙하게 됩니다.

공항공사는 공항이용객들의 불편 해소를 위해 대책본부를 설치해 비상상황에 대비하기로 했습니다.
