Archbishop visits Jeju to deliver funds to local diocese

Pope Francis has donated 10,000 euros in support of the Yemeni asylum seekers in Jeju.

Archbishop Alfred (“shuay-reb”) Xuereb visited Jeju to deliver the funds to the Jeju diocese.

The archbishop also relayed the pope’s message to Catholics that they be generous toward and welcome the refugees.

프란치스코 교황, 제주 예멘 난민 1만 유로 기부

프란치스코 교황이 제주에 있는 예멘 난민을 위해 교황청 자선기금 1만 유로를 기부했습니다.

프란치스코 교황은 주한 교황대사 알프레드 슈에레브 대주교를 통해 이같은 자선기금을 천주교 제주교구에 전달했습니다.

슈에레브 대주교는 교황께서 난민 문제와 관련해 신자들에게 관용을 베풀고 환대하라고 당부했다고 전했습니다.
