4. Seongpanak Trail reopens
Rockslide damaged path in June

Hikers may again use the Seongpanak Trail to climb to the peak of Hallasan Mountain.

Representatives from the Hallasan National Park Office say repair work on the path is complete, and that they reopened it Wednesday.

In June, a rockslide damaged part of the trail at an elevation of roughly 1,850 meters. Authorities closed it then because of the danger it posed to hikers and to allow workers to repair the damage.

낙석 위험으로 출입이 통제됐던 한라산 성판악 정상 등반로가 1일부터 개방됩니다.

한라산국립공원사무소는 낙석으로 파손됐던 탐방로 보수공사가 마무리됐다며
1일부터 성판악 정상 등반로를 개방한다고 밝혔습니다.

성판악 등반로는 지난 6월 낙석으로 해발 1850미터 부근 탐방로가 훼손돼 출입이 통제됐습니다.
