3. Province plans to charge businesses for traffic congestion
Public hearings Friday in Jeju City, Seogwipo

The provincial government will hold public hearings on its plan to charge businesses for the traffic congestion they create.

One hearing will be Friday morning at Seogwipo City Hall, and another will follow in the afternoon at the Farmers’ and Fishermen’s Hall in Jeju City.

Officials will begin by introducing the plan, then they will explain the proposed ordinance amendment, and finally they will field questions from members of the public.

The provincial government plans to then officially announce the legislation by the end of August.

교통유발부담금 도민 의견 수렴 공청회를 개최합니다.

공청회는 교통유발부담금 제도에 대한 주제발표와 조례 개정안 설명, 그리고 질의 응답 순으로 진행됩니다.

제주도는 공청회가 끝나면 이달 안으로 조례안을 입법예고할 계획입니다.
