4. All community service centers accepting child grant applications
Parents who apply by Friday will receive first grant September 21

Local parents can now pre-apply at all local community service centers for “child grants” that will be distributed beginning in September.

The grants are available for 36,000 children under age six. To qualify, families of three must make no more than 11.7 million won per month.

Authorities will need one month to review the applications, so parents who apply by this Friday will be able to receive their first monthly grants on September 21st, when they begin to be distributed.

Parents of qualifying children who can’t make this first deadline will be given the grant retroactively from September.

아동수당 신청 모든 읍면동에서 접수

오는 9월부터 시행하는 아동수당 지급을 위한 사전신청이 도내 모든 읍면동에서 이뤄지고 있습니다.

신청 대상은 만 6살 미만 아동 3만 6천여 명으로 3인 가구 기준 월 소득액이 1천170만원 이하입니다.

특히 아동수당 신청 후 수급결정까지 한달 이상 소요돼 오는 10일까지 신청해야 9월 21일 첫 급여를 수령할 수 있게 됩니다.

다만 9월 21일 수령이 어려운 경우 다음에 9월분까지 소급해 지급됩니다.
