5. Dodu Oraemul Festival August 10-12
Variety of activities in Jeju City

The 18th Dodu Oraemul Festival will be held from August 10th to 12th at Oraemul Square in Dodu-dong.

Visitors will be able to enjoy walks around the area to view community murals, a singing contest, and chances to try out yachting and kayaking.

A water floorball tournament for elementary, middle, and high school students is a new edition to this year’s event.

The culture ministry named the Dodu Oraemul Festival a quote/unquote “promising festival” in 2015, and Jeju has selected it as the same for the past four years. The province also designated it as one of the island’s top festivals this year.

제18회 도두오래물축제 10일 개막

제18회 도두오래물축제가 오는 10일부터 사흘동안 제주시 도두동 오래물광장 일대에서 열립니다.

이번 축제에는 도두동 마을벽화길 걷기체험과 오래물 전국노래자랑, 요트와 카약 체험 등의 프로그램이 마련됩니다.

또 올해는 초.중.고등부 워터플로어볼 대회가 새롭게 선보입니다.

도두오래물축제는 2015년 문화체육관광부 유망축제, 2014부터 4년 연속 제주도 유망축제, 올해 제주도 우수축제로 선정되기도 했습니다.
