3. More surveillance cameras to be installed
Province to set up CCTV in child protection zones, crime-prone areas

In somewhat related news, the province will install dozens more CCTV surveillance cameras in child protection zones and other areas.

It is spending 1.53 billion won to install cameras in 66 places. That includes 43 child protection zones and 23 crime-prone areas.

The province installed surveillance cameras in some 80 areas in the first half of this year. It also replaced some existing cameras with high-resolution models.

어린이보호구역·우범지역 CCTV 추가 설치

어린이보호구역 등 안전취약 시설에 CCTV가 보강됩니다.

제주특별자치도는 올 하반기 15억 3천만 원을 들여 어린이보호구역 43개소와
우범지역 23곳 등 66개소에 방범용 CCTV를 추가 설치합니다.

제주도는 올 상반기에 80여 곳에 CCTV를 설치했고 고화질카메라 교체사업도 진행했습니다.
