According to the Ministry of Public Administration and Security, the average age in Jeju 40.9. The national average is 41.5.

Here on the island, the average woman, at 42.2 years old, is older than the average man, who is 39.6.

The island’s population of official residents grew by around 15,000 in the preceding year to hit 657,000 in 2017.

제주도 인구의 평균 연령은 40.9세로 전국 평균보다 낮은 것으로 조사됐습니다.

행정안전부 통계연보에 따르면 도내 인구 평균연령은 40.9세로 전국 평균 41.5세 보다 0.6세 낮았습니다.

남녀 평균 연령은 남성은 39.6세, 여성은 42.2세로 남성 연령이 여성보다 조금 낮았습니다.

한편 지난해 기준 제주 주민등록인구는 65만 7천여 명으로 전년보다 1만 5천여 명 늘었습니다.
