As part of crime prevention efforts, local authorities will install more panic buttons in public restrooms.

Jeju City officials say that, following discussions with municipal police, the buttons will be installed in 20 restrooms.

Hidden camera warning signs will also be put up in 76 bathrooms.

69 of Jeju City’s 250 public restrooms are currently outfitted with panic buttons.

범죄 예방을 위해 공중화장실 안심비상벨이 확대 설치됩니다.

제주시는 제주자치경찰단과 협의해 20군데 공중화장실에 안심비상벨을 추가로 설치한다고 밝혔습니다.

또 76군데 화장실에는 몰래카메라 범죄 예방을 위한 경고문을 게시할 방침입니다.

한편 제주시내 250군데 공중화장실 가운데 69곳에 안심비상벨이 설치 운영중입니다.
