4. Jeju International Cruise Forum begins Tuesday
1,700 participants expected

The 6th Jeju International Cruise Forum begins its four-day run Tuesday at the Landing Convention Center in Jeju Shinhwa World.

The Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries and the provincial government are hosting the event. Organizers expect some 17-hundred participants, including experts and representatives from international cruise lines, the national government, and local groups. They will discuss methods of developing a sustainable cruise industry in Asia.

One of the highlights this year will be a visit by the head of a major Japanese cruise line who will speak about market trends and the industry’s future prospects.

제6회 제주국제크루즈포럼이 오는 28일부터 나흘간 제주신화월드 랜딩컨벤션센터에서 열립니다.

해양수산부와 제주특별자치도가 주최하고 있는 제주국제크루즈포럼은 글로벌크루즈선사와 중앙정부, 지방자치단체, 전문가 등 1천 700여명이 참가해
지속가능한 아시아 크루즈산업의 발전방안을 논의하게 됩니다.

특히 올해 처음으로 일본의 대표 크루즈선사가 참여해 크루즈 시장 현황과 향후 전망을 제언할 예정입니다.
