Sales index falls 8.3% compared to July 2017

Sales were down at Jeju’s large retailers in July.

The Jeju branch of the Honam Regional Statistics Office says the sales index at the retailers was 109.9??8.3 percent lower than it was in July 2017.

Sales of shoes and bags dropped 25 percent over the year, while receipts for cosmetics and electronics were each down 19 percent.


지난달 제주 대형마트 판매 감소

7월 제주지역 대형마트 판매가 감소했습니다.

호남지방통계청 제주사무소에 따르면 지난달 제주지역 대형소매점 판매액지수는 109.9로 지난해 같은 기간에 비해 8.3% 하락했습니다.

신발과 가방류의 판매가 25% 줄었고, 화장품과 가전제품 판매도 각각 19% 줄어든 것으로 나타났습니다.
