Rates will be 80% of what other airlines charge

Budget carrier Jeju Air will start offering domestic air cargo service September 17th.

Rates will be roughly 80 percent of what other carriers charge.

Service will begin on the Jeju-Gimpo route. When and if that stabilizes, Jeju Air will expand the service to other routes.

Jeju Air began offering international cargo service in 2012, but it delayed domestic operations because it could not secure airport freight terminals.

제주항공, 17일부터 항공화물 운송 시작

저비용항공사인 제주항공이 오는 17일부터 국내선 항공화물 운송을 시작합니다.

항공운임은 기존 항공사의 80% 수준에서 결정될 예정입니다.

제주-김포 노선 화물운송 사업이 안정화되면 다른 노선으로 확대해 나갈 계획입니다.

제주항공은 지난 2012년부터 국제선 화물운송사업을 시작했지만 국내선의 경우
공항별 화물터미널 확보가 여의치 않아 미뤄져 왔습니다.
