4. Jeju-born artist featured in mainland exhibition
Gimpo Art Village hosting display of calligraphy from China, Korea

An exhibition of Chinese and Korean calligraphy is underway at Gimpo Art Village’s Art Center.

The Gimpo Cultural Foundation and the Korea Calligraphers Association organized the event, which is running through October 7th. It features the works of 70 calligraphers, including Jeju-born (창봉 박동규) Changbong Park Dong-gyu.

The roughly 20 Chinese artists whose work is on display include (심붕) Simbong, (황돈) Hwangdon, (주상림) Jusangrim and (장지중) Jangjijoong.

The works of Korean calligraphers will be displayed next May in a corresponding exhibition in China.

한·중 서예 국제 교류전/김포아트빌리지 아트센터

한중 서예 국제 교류전이 다음달 7일까지 김포아트빌리지 아트센터에서 열리고 있습니다.

김포문화재단과 한국서예가협회가 마련한 이번 교류전에는 제주출신 서예가 창봉 박동규 선생을 비롯한 70여 명의 회원 작가들의 작품이 선보이고 있습니다.

이와함께 심붕 선생과 황돈, 주상림, 장지중 등 중국를 대표하는 20여명의 작가들이 참여하고 있습니다.

내년 5월에는 중국 측의 초청으로 한국서예가협회 작가들과 중국작가들이 함께하는 교류전이 열릴 예정입니다.
