5. Volunteers wanted for CJ Cup
Parking attendants, other workers needed for PGA Tour event in October

Organizers are now seeking volunteers for the CJ Cup, an October PGA Tour at the Nine Bridges golf club in Andeok-myeon.

All residents at least 18 years old are welcome to apply through the provincial volunteer center’s website. The center will select 393 volunteers for the event by September 12th.

The workers will be in charge of restricting access to halls at the golf club and making sure parking goes smoothly from October 16th to the 21st. For their efforts, they will be presented souvenirs and certificates proving they did the volunteer work.

Some of the world’s best golfers will be competing in the second CJ Cup, including last year’s winner Justin Thomas and current World Number 1 in the Official Golf Ranking, Dustin Johnson.

PGA투어 CJ컵 자원봉사자 모집

CJ가 다음달 안덕면 나인브릿지 골프장에서 열리는 PGA투어 CJ컵에 참여할 도민 자원봉사자를 오는 12일까지 모집합니다.

모집인원은 만 18살 이상 393명으로 제주도 자원봉사센터 홈페이지를 통해 신청하면 됩니다.

선발된 자원봉사자들은 대회 기간이 다음달 16일부터 21일까지 홀 통제와 주차 안내 등을 하게 되며 각종 기념품과 봉사시간 인증서를 받게 됩니다.

올해로 2번째 열리는 이번 대회에는 지난해 우승자인 저스틴 토마스를 비롯해 세계 랭킹 1위인 더스틴 존슨 등 상위 랭커들이 대거 출전할 예정입니다.
