Motorists won’t have to pay Saturday-Wednesday

Jeju City is making 30 of its 32 public paid parking lots free over the Chuseok holidays.

Motorists won’t have to pay from September 22nd to the 26th at the lots in front of Jeju City Hall, at (신제주) Shin Jeju Rotary, to the west of the Provincial Office, at the entrance to (탑동)Tapdong, at Dongmun Traditional Market, to the north of the court building, and elsewhere.

The paid lot at the airport entrance will operate as usual, and (제일) Jeil Parking Garage will remain partly open.

The city expects a lot of people will be shopping at traditional markets, so it will dispatch parking attendants to the lots near Dongmun Market and (칠성로) Chilseong-ro.

추석 공영주차장 30곳 무료개방

제주시가 추석연휴기간인 오는 22일부터 26일까지 공영유료주차장 32곳 가운데 30군데를 무료 개방합니다.

무료개방 주차장은 제주시청 앞과 신제주로터리, 도청 서쪽, 탑동 입구, 동문재래시장, 법원 북쪽 등입니다.

다만 공항 입구는 정상 운영하며 제일주차빌딩은 부분 개방합니다.

제주시는 전통시장을 찾는 시민들이 많을 것으로 보고 동문시장과 칠성로 일대 공영주차장 주변에 주차관리요원을 배치할 예정입니다.
