3. Seaworld Express to replace ferry on Jeju-Mokpo route
New vessel will accommodate 380 vehicles, 1,300 passengers

The Seaworld Express Ferry Company is building a cruise ship to replace the ferry it sails between Jeju and Mokpo.

It has contracted the Hyundai Mipo Dockyard to build a 26,000-ton vessel.

The new ship will be 170 meters long and capable of accommodating 380 vehicles and 13-hundred passengers. It is scheduled to make its maiden voyage in 2020.

It will replace the Santa Lucino, which makes one roundtrip daily between Jeju and Mokpo.

씨월드고속훼리, 제주 노선 크루즈선 건조

씨월드고속훼리가 제주와 목포를 오가는 여객선을 대체할 연안 크루즈선을 건조합니다.

씨월드고속훼리는 현대미포조선과 2만7천톤급 크루즈선 건조 계약을 체결했다고 밝혔습니다.

새 크루즈선은 길이 170m에 승객 1천300명, 차량 380대를 실을 수 있는 규모로
2020년 취항을 목표로 하고 있습니다.

이 배는 제주와 목포를 하루 한차례 왕복 운항하고 있는 산타루치노호를 대체하게 됩니다.
