5. Jeju City offers financial support for female farmers
City will pay for farm laborers for up to 90 days around childbirth

Jeju City has announced more support for female farmers.

It is offering financial support for women to hire help for their agricultural activities for as many as 90 days before and/or after childbirth.

The city has earmarked 70,000 per day per new or expecting mother. That works out to five million 40 thousand won, for all of the workdays within the full 90-day period.

Jeju City has offered 46 million won in assistance to 12 women farmers so far this year.

제주시, 출산 여성농업인 '도우미' 지원

제주시가 여성농업인을 위한 농어가 도우미 지원사업을 추진하고 있습니다.

대상은 출산 또는 출산예정인 여성농어업인으로 출산일을 전후해 최대 90일까지 이용할 수 있습니다.

지원단가는 1일 7만원으로 90일을 모두 이용할 경우 504만원의 혜택을 보게 됩니다.

제주시는 올해 여성농업인 12명에게 4천 600만원 상당의 도우미를 지원했습니다.
