1. National Assembly committee to audit provincial government, police
Inspection begins October 26

The Jeju Provincial Police Agency will be the subject of a parliamentary audit for the first time in four years.

Members of the Public Administration and Security Committee will start the inspection of the agency and the provincial government October 26th at the provincial office.

The committee’s audit team two will be in charge of the proceedings.

The inspection will focus on problems related to the transfer of responsibilities from the national police to Jeju Municipal Police, refugee issues on the island, and crime committed by foreign nationals in Jeju.

제주지방경찰청에 대한 국회 국정감사가 지난 2014년 이후 4년만에 열릴 예정입니다.

국회 행정안전위원회는 10월 26일 제주도청 회의실에서 제주도와 제주지방경찰청을 상대로 국정감사를 벌입니다.

제주 국감은 행정안전위 감사2반이 맡을 것으로 전해졌습니다.

특히 이번 국감에서는 제주 자치경찰의 국가경찰 업무 이관 문제를 비롯해 최근 불거지는 난민 문제와 외국인 범죄 등에 대한 문제가 주요 현안으로 다뤄질 전망입니다.
