5. Seogwipo starts land appraisals
Official land values will be released next year

Seogwipo authorities have begun appraising land in the city, as they plan to release the official values next year.

Landowners have complained about growing tax burdens and dwindling government support in the face of rising land prices. The city will therefore try to stabilize the growth in official values by appraising farmland according to the price of adjacent properties rather than based on appraisal formulas.

City officials say a clear downturn in the real estate sector and fewer land transactions are other reasons to focus on price stabilization.

서귀포시, 내년 표준지 공시지가 조사 시작

서귀포시가 이달부터 내년 표준지 공시지가 고시에 따른 조사를 시작합니다.

특히 전국 최고 수준의 지가 상승률로 인한 각종 세부담과 복지 수혜율 감소에 따른 민원이 제기되고 있는 만큼 순수 농경지대의 가격 합리화를 위해 표준지 인상율을 자제하고 인접 농지 간 가격균형을 유지한다는 방침입니다.

또 최근 서귀포 지역의 부동산 경기 침체와 토지거래 감소가 뚜렷한 만큼 표준지 공시지가 안정화에 초점을 맞춘다는 계획입니다.
