3. Jeju expands financial support for job training
Up to ￦3m for young adults in off-island programs

The provincial government is increasing its financial support for off-island job training for young local adults.

The province will provide funding for programs not offered in Jeju, such as those related to big data, artificial intelligence, machinery, and the fourth industrial revolution. It will offer up to 3 million won per person, a total that includes support for accommodations and travel.

Until now, this support has been limited to programs that run longer than one month and that entail over 60 hours of instruction per month. The requirements have been eased to programs that are at least 60 hours per month.

제주청년 도외 직업훈련비 확대 지원

제주특별자치도가 제주청년들을 대상으로 지원하는 도외 직업훈련비를 확대합니다.

지원대상은 제주에서 교육이 이뤄지지 않고 있는 빅데이터와 AI, 기계설비,
4차 산업혁명 관련 교육으로 숙박비와 교통비를 포함해 1인당 최대 300만원입니다.

특히 지금까지 훈련기간 한달 이상이면서 훈련시간이 월 60시간 이상 과정에 대해서만 지원했었으나 훈련시간 월 60시간만 충족되면 지원대상에 포함하기로 했습니다.
