3. Brooks Koepka wins CJ Cup
American claims top spot in PGA Tour event

American Brooks Koepka won the second edition of Korea’s first regular PGA Tour event.

Koepka won the CJ Cup at Nine Bridges with an 8-under 64 on Sunday and a 21-under 267 total.

Fellow American Gary Woodland came in second, followed by Ryan Palmer from the U.S. and Rafa Cabrera Bello from Spain, who tied for third.

Jeju’s own (성강) Sung Kang shared 29th place with a 6-under 282, while Seong-jae Im shared 41st place with a 4-under 284.

PGA투어 CJ컵 폐막…브룩스 켑카 '우승'

국내 첫 PGA투어 정규대회인 CJ컵이 폐막한 가운데 우승은 미국의 브룩스 켑카가 차지했습니다.

브룩스 켑카는 21일 서귀포시 클럽나인브릿지에서 열린 CJ컵 마지막날 8타를 줄여 최종 합계 21언더파 267타를 기록하며 1위에 올랐습니다.

2위에는 미국의 그래이 우드랜드가, 미국의 라이언 팔머와 스페인의 라파 카브레라 벨로가 공동 3위에 이름을 올렸습니다.

제주출신 강성훈 선수는 6언더파 282타로 공동 29위, 임성재 선수는 4언더파 284타 공동 41위로 대회를 마감했습니다.
