3. Growing number of new homes remain unsold
1,275 in Jeju in September

The number of unsold new homes across the country is slowly decreasing, but it’s still on the upswing here in Jeju.

The land ministry says there were some 60,000 unsold new residential units in the country as of the end of September. That’s 17-hundred fewer than in August.

There were 1,275 unsold homes in Jeju, and that’s 58 more than the month before.

Of particular note: 711 homes on which construction finished in September remained unsold and that’s an increase of 52 over the previous month.

제주지역 미분양 주택 '증가'

전국적으로 미분양 주택이 조금씩 줄어드는 가운데 제주는 여전히 증가세를 보이고 있습니다.

국토교통부에 따르면 지난달까지 전국적으로 미분양 주택은 6만호로 전달에 비해 1천 700호 줄었습니다.

반면 제주는 1천 275호로 전달에 비해 오히려 58호 늘었습니다.

특히 준공 후 미분양 주택 역시 제주는 지난달까지 711호로 전달에 비해 52호 증가했습니다.
