Milestone hit 43 days earlier than in 2017

Jeju Air flew its 10 millionth passenger of the year on Monday.

That’s 43 days earlier than last year, when it hit the milestone for the first time ever in December.

Domestic fliers account for 39 percent of the total in 2018, at 3.91 million passengers.

Jeju Air had its maiden flight in June 2006. It is expected to hit a cumulative total of 60 million passengers by the end of the year.


제주항공 연간 탑승객 1천만명 돌파

제주항공이 5일자로 연간 탑승객 1천만명을 넘어섰습니다.

이는 지난해 12월 처음 1천만명을 돌파한 것보다 43일 빠른 것입니다.

국내선의 경우 탑승객 391만여 명으로 전체의 39%를 차지했습니다.

지난 2006년 6월 취항한 제주항공은 올해 안에 누적탑승객 수도 6천만명을 넘어설 것으로 예상되고 있습니다.
