4. Search on for ‘top tourism businesses’
Province now accepting applications

The provincial government is running a public search for the island’s “top tourism businesses.”

Companies registered as tourist attractions, transportation companies, accommodations, travel agencies, and restaurants may apply for the designation through Monday, if they have been officially in operation for over one year and if they are based in Jeju.

Application review is the first step in the designation process. That will be followed by on-site assessments, and then an evaluation committee will make the final determinations. The designations will be valid for two years beginning in January.

제주특별자치도가 오는 12일까지 우수관광사업체를 공개모집합니다.

공모대상은 영업신고 후 1년이 지난 제주도에 본점을 둔 관광지나 교통, 숙박, 여행, 음식업 등 5개 분야의 사업체입니다.

선정은 서류 심사 후 현장평가와 평정위원회의 심의를 거쳐 결정되며 지정기간은
내년 1월부터 2년간입니다.
