HR employee, head of labor union heading to court

Authorities have indicted two people from Hallim Suhyup for alleged corruption in the hiring process.

The Jeju District Prosecutor’s Office says that at the end of 2015, the 64-year-old labor union at Hallim Suhyup leader failed to inspect applications or put prospective employees through interviews when 12 workers were being hired. He allegedly simply asked current employees to draw up a list of new hires.

Prosecutors say the other defendant, a 51-year-old human resources staff member, disregarded regulations and allowed five unqualified applicants to sit for interviews.

한림수협 조합장 64살 김 모씨를 위력과 위계에 의한 업무방해 혐의로 기소했다고 밝혔습니다.

검찰은 또 인사 공고에 명시된 주소지 규정에 미달된 5명을 면접을 보게 한 인사 담당자 51살 김 모 씨도 함께 기소했습니다.
