1. Officials to take another look at Safari World project
City planning committee discussed development November 9

The province’s city planning committee has decided to again reconsider the construction of a new tourist attraction called Safari World.

The committee convened for a meeting November 9th at the provincial office. Members discussed the designation of the Safari World site as a development promotion zone.

The last time the committee met, members ordered that a study be done on the boundary between the development and the nearby gotjawal forest. That study is still underway, so members decided to take up the issue again after it is complete.

The committee also ordered the developer to supplement plans for water supply and usage.


사파리월드 조성사업 '재심의'

제주도 도시계획위원회가 사파리월드 조성사업에 대해 또다시 재심의 결정을 내렸습니다 .

위원회는 9일 오후 제주도청에서 회의를 열고 사파리월드 조성사업에 대한 개발진흥지구 지정 안건을 심의했습니다.

위원회는 지난 번 부대조건이었던 곶자왈 용역이 아직 진행 중인 만큼 용역이 끝난 뒤 안건을 재상정해 논의하기로 결정했습니다.

아울러 사업자 측에 용수공급과 중수활용계획을 보완하라고 주문했습니다.
