3. Fewer winter flights this year
15 fewer per week through end of March

It may be a challenge to find domestic airline tickets off the island this winter, because there will be fewer flights from Jeju.

The transport ministry says the number of weekly flights will be cut from last year’s 1,482 to 1,466 through the end of March.

Asiana Airlines will go from 305 to 294 flights, Jeju Air from 246 to 239, and Jin Air from 170 to 164.

Korean Air, Eastar Jet, and T’way Air will operate the same number of flights as last year, while Busan Air will be making more departures: it’s going from 137 to 144 per week.

올 겨울철 제주기점 국내선 항공편 운항이 감소해 좌석난이 우려됩니다.

국토교통부에 따르면 내년 3월 말까지 동계기간 동안 국내 제주노선 운항횟수는 1천482회에서 천466회로 감소했습니다.

항공사별로는 아시아나항공이 305회에서 294회로, 제주항공은 246회에서 239회로, 진에어는 170회에서 164회로 각각 줄여 운항합니다.

대한항공과 이스타항공, 티웨이항공은 지난해 수준을 유지한 가운데 에어부산은 지난해 137회에서 올해 144회로 늘렸습니다.
