Audit commission asked police to investigate 6 cases

Police have cleared public agencies in Jeju of alleged hiring malpractice.

The provincial commission of audit and inspection asked the police to investigate six cases of alleged corruption in the hiring process at the April 3rd Peace Foundation, the Jeju Provincial Development Company, and Jeju Techno Park.

Despite clearing the agencies of the specific charges they were investigating, the police did issue warnings to the April 3rd Peace Foundation and the JPDC. They determined that the agencies had accepted unverified certificates from a private educational institution and that over half of the interview panel for new general staff members comprised agency employees.

제주지역 공공기관 채용비리 의혹과 관련해 경찰이 모두 혐의없음 결정을 내렸습니다.

제주도감사위원회는 4.3 평화재단과 제주개발공사, 제주테크노파크 등 3개 기관, 6건에 대한 채용비리 의혹과 관련해 경찰에 수사를 의뢰했으나 모두 '혐의없음'으로 통보받았다고 밝혔습니다.

다만 수사결과와는 별개로 일반직원을 채용하면서 응시자격을 입증할 수 없는 학원수강서를 인정하고 면접시험 심사위원을 구성하면서 내부위원을 과반수 이상으로 구성한 4.3 평화재단과 제주개발공사에 대해서는 주의 처분을 요구했습니다.
