Provincial council member says construction is necessary, legal

Lawmaker (고용호) Go Yong-ho says the province should resume work on the Bijarim Forest Road.

During a five-minute statement Thursday at the 366th regular meeting of the provincial council, Go said the provincial government’s suspension of the project was an example of irresponsible administration. He argued the work was both necessary and legal, and he called on the governor to resume it as soon as possible.

Meanwhile, in his statement, lawmaker (허창옥) Heo Chang-ok criticized new delivery regulations at cabbage auctions, which he claims are being misused for political purposes. He says the province must draw up practical measures to support farmers.
