3. Government grants for green energy
Province will pay up to 50% of installation cost for home solar systems

The provincial government is accepting applications through December 20th from homeowners who want government support to install solar energy panels on their houses.

The province will cover up to half the installation cost for up to 3-kilowatt systems on single-family houses.

It will also help cover the cost of the solar systems themselves. There are seven types of mini solar panels, from 200 to 900 watts each, from which homeowners can choose. The province will pay up to 2,360 won per watt.

Finally, the local government will cover the entire installation cost for electric car chargers at multi-family homes with more than 20 families, with a limit of 30 kilowatts per building.

주택 태양광발전 설치 최고 50% 지원

제주특별자치도가 주택 태양광발전시설 설치를 지원하기로 하고 다음달 20일까지 접수하고 있습니다.

단독주택 태양광발전시설의 경우 최대 3kw까지 설치할 수 있으며 시설비의 최고 50%까지 지원됩니다.

전기차 충전시설을 설치하는 20세대 이상 공동주택에는 건물 1동당 30kw까지 설치비 전액을 지원합니다.

미니태양광은 200와트에서 900와트까지 7가지로 나뉘며 와트당 2천 360원을 지원받게 됩니다.
