3. ‘Love in Jeju’ begins 15-day run Friday
JDC and KCTV invited parents of foreign wives to island

JDC Love in Jeju is the name of a program through which the parents of foreign women who married local men are invited to Jeju, and the 15-day event began Friday.

Hosted by the Jeju Free International City Development Center and organized by KCTV, some 60 people are taking part in this year’s event. That total includes 9 local families based on international marriages and 17 parents of the foreign wives, who come from four countries.

Organizers say that over the next couple of weeks, the foreign parents will create unforgettable memories with their daughters, who moved to Jeju to marry local men.

The JDC and KCTV have been working on “Love in Jeju” as a way to give back to local society since 2015.

JDC-KCTV, 다문화 친정부모 9가정 제주 초청

다문화가정 친정부모를 제주로 초청하는 JDC 러브인 제주가 23일 환영행사를 시작으로 보름간의 일정에 들어갑니다.

제주국제자유도시개발센터가 주최하고 KCTV 제주방송이 주관하는 이번 행사에는 4개국 9개 가정 17명의 친정부모와 가족 등 60여 명이 참가합니다.

특히 제주로 초청된 친정부모들은 보름동안 머물며 제주로 시집온 딸과 잊지못할 추억을 만들게 됩니다.

JDC와 KCTV제주방송은 지난 2015년부터 사회공헌사업으로 러브인 제주사업을 추진하고 있습니다.
