4. Red Cross begins annual fundraising drive
Goal: ￦2.33b by end of January

The Jeju branch of the Korean Red Cross began its annual fundraising drive Thursday morning at Sanjicheon Square to inaugurate the organization’s annual fundraising drive.

The Red Cross aims to collect 2.33 billion won in donations for its work next year. That’s 8.4 percent more than what it collected for this year’s operations. The money will be used for disaster relief and community service.

It will collect donations for 62 days?through the end of January.


적십자회비 모금 시작…23억 3천만 원 목표

대한적십자사 제주특별자치도지사가 29일 오전 제주시 산지천 광장에서 내년도 적십자회비 모금 선포식을 갖고 본격적인 회비 모금에 나섰습니다.

내년도 목표 모금액은 올해년도 목표액 대비 8.4% 증가한 23억 3천만 원으로
모금액은 이재민을 위한 재난구호나 사회봉사 활동 등에 사용됩니다.

모금기간은 다음달 1일부터 내년 1월말까지 62일 동안 진행됩니다.
