5. Province to expand international development assistance
Officials to provide job training support in Indonesia

The provincial government is expanding its Official Development Assistance initiative.

Jeju has offered ODA in Mongolia, East Timor, and Burundi. Local officials will now provide job training support in the Kalimantan area of Borneo, Indonesia.


They will focus on training workers for ecotourism jobs as well as developing souvenirs and improving the general skills of area residents.

제주특별자치도가 공적개발원조 사업을 확대 시행합니다.

이를 위해 현재 몽골과 동티모르, 부른디 3개국에 이어 인도네시아 보르네오섬에 있는 칼리만탄 지역의 직업훈련 지원사업을 새롭게 추진합니다.

이 지역에서는 생태관광 직업훈련과 관광기념품 개발, 주민역량 강화사업을 단계적으로 추진하게 됩니다.
