Receipts for shoes, bags, and clothes down over 20% in October

Sales are falling at large retailers in Jeju.

The Jeju branch of the Honam Regional Statistics Office says the sales index at large retailers on the island in October was 93. That’s 16.4 percent below where it was at the same point last year.

And it’s 14.2 percent below where it was just a month before.

The biggest losses were in sales of shoes, bags, and clothes?receipts for them fell by more than 20 percent.

제주지역 대형소매점 판매액이 감소했습니다.

호남지방통계청 제주사무소에 따르면 10월 제주지역 대형소매점 판매액 지수는 93으로 지난해 같은 기간보다 16.4% 줄었습니다.

이같은 지수는 전달보다 14.2% 줄어든 수치입니다.

상품별로 보면 신발과 가방, 의류가 20% 이상 감소한 것으로 나타났습니다.
