4. Province, JTO seek to attract more wedding tourists from Hong Kong
Jeju booth at Hong Kong Wedding Fair

The provincial government and Jeju Tourism Organization are working to entice more high value-added wedding tourists from Hong Kong to come to the island.

They teamed up with four wedding-related companies on the island to run a promotional booth at the three-day Hong Kong Wedding Fair over the weekend.

The local envoys focused on promoting romantic wedding photography travel packages in Jeju that feature flowers prefered by Hong Kong consumers.

The JTO worked with a wedding consulting firm in Hong Kong this year to market trips to the island. 140 couples ended up coming here.

고부가가치 홍콩 웨딩관광객 유치

제주도와 제주관광공사가 홍콩 고부가가치 웨딩관광객을 유치하기 위해 홍보에 나섰습니다.

제주도와 관광공사는 이를 위해 도내 4개 웨딩업체와 공동으로 14일부터 사흘동안 열리는 홍콩웨딩박람회에 참가해 홍보부스를 운영했습니다.

특히 이번 박람회에서 홍콩 소비자들이 선호하는 다양한 꽃 콘텐츠를 활용한 제주만의 로맨틱한 웨딩촬영 상품을 홍보했습니다.

제주관광공사는 올해 홍콩 웨딩컨설팅 업체와 공동 프로모션을 추진해 홍콩 웨딩관광객 140쌍을 유치한 바 있습니다.
